According to Oman News Agency: The proceedings of the Omani Cultural Days in Tripoli kicked off at "Omar al-Mukhtar" hall in Tripoli today under the auspices of Sheikh Saud bin Sulaiman al Nabhani, State Advisor in the presence of Noori Dhu al Humaidi, Secretary of the Peoples' General Committee for Culture and Media in Libya. The ceremony was also attended by Sheikh Hamad bin Hilal al Ma'amari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Heritage and culture for Cultural Affairs. At his opening speech, Sheikh al-Nabhani highlighted the deeprooted relationship between the Sultanate and Libya, which foundations were laid down by Sultan Qaboos bin Said and Col.
