"If anything, we'll [MySpace Music] be accretive to iPod sales," said MySpace CEO Chris DeWolfe. "Unless we develop a device." DeWolfe, who was speaking at a Web 2.0 conference in San Francisco, did not mention any immediate plans for developing the device but very clearly planted the idea of such a device out there.
"It's possible" that MySpace, owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, could eventually build a PMP once it had developed a consumer base, said DeWolfe. "Right now, we're just focusing on the service."
