FUND ANALYSIS: A 34 per cent exposure to British smaller companies can be gained through this ETF
Unfortunately for fans of passive investment strategies, there are no index tracker funds or exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that operate specifically in the UK Smaller Companies space. However, iShares chief executive Rory Tobin says that the iShares range may expand soon to include a UK smaller companies ETF.
In the meantime, you'll have to make do with the MSCI Europe Small Cap TRN Index ETF from db x-trackerswww.dbxtrackers.co.uk), the ETF platform from Deutsche Bank that launched in January 2007.
