CLEVELAND, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- First Union Real Estate Investments (NYSE: FUR), announced the election of Herman J. Russell to its Board of Trustees. Mr. Russell currently is chairman of the Atlanta-based H.J. Russell & Company, which provides general construction, construction management, and real estate brokerage, development and property management services throughout the United States. Mr. Russell's other business activities include Russell Properties, Inc. and Concessions International, Inc. also located in Atlanta, Georgia.
