The Salmon River region near Lake Ontario, long noted for its world-class fishing, also offers the visitors spectacular scenery, hiking trails and tours of the state-of-the art DEC fish hatchery.
The attractions of the Salmon River corridor can be credited to on-going partnerships involving DEC, the Niagara Mohawk Power Corp., conservation and fishing organizations, local governments, and private charities and foundations.
