Quicksilver Resources Inc. s $600 million budget for 2009 includes about $475 million, or about 79 percent, allocated for projects in Texas, where the company had more than 720,000 acres as of Jan. 1.
The Fort Worth-based oil and gas exploration company s board of directors approved the budget Nov. 20, which also includes $110 million for Canadian projects and $15 million to be dispersed among other projects in the United States, according to a statement.
