BUSINESS people across North Wales have been told that even at times of turmoil in the global economy they have plenty to smile about.
The point was made by Daily Post editor Rob Irvine in his introductory remarks to the newspaper's Achievement Wales 2008 Business Awards - the leading business awards for companies of all sizes in North and mid Wales.
Welsh advanced learner Mr Irvine said his vocabulary in the language had come on by leaps and bounds over the past year, acquiring Welsh terms for "recession", "layoffs" and "credit crunch".
