As soon as Sheldon's second-round win over Westview was complete, the Irish knew what was next.
"Lake Oswego, a rematch," Sheldon wide receiver Curtis White said.
Yes, it is a rematch, but it is almost becoming an annual rivalry, as well, as the Irish and Lakers seem to meet almost yearly in the postseason.
When 10th-ranked Sheldon visits No. 1 Lake Oswego in the OSAA Class 6A quarterfinals Friday night, it will mark the fifth playoff meeting between the two schools in the last seven seasons.
The series is split 2-2 during that span, with Sheldon winning the 2002 state championship game ...
