Quest Software Inc. a developer of enterprise systems management software products, Tuesday revealed the pending resolution of the investigation by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission into the companys historical employee stock option granting practices and related accounting treatment.
Aliso Viejo, California-based Quest agreed to settle with the SEC by consenting to the entry of a judgment enjoining future violations of certain provisions of the federal securities laws. The company did not admit or deny the allegations in the SECs complaint.
