Dec. 4--HAMBURG -- Hamburg residents put the final touches on a five-year plan to revitalize their neigborhood during the third of four meetings to develop an Elm Street program in the borough's southern end.
At the group's meeting Wednesday night at First Episcopal Church, Third and Pine streets, Deena Kershner, program manager of the Hamburg Our Town Foundation, said the comprehensive plan and application must now be submitted to members of Hamburg Borough Council for official approval.
"We're expecting approval Monday night, and then it will be sent to the Department of Community and Economic Development," Kershner said. ...
