This year's search for the Young Creative Screen Entrepreneur is in cooperation with Studio 23, Shangri-La Plaza Mall and NU 107. The YCE Awards were devised by the British Council's Creative Economy Unit "to celebrate the achievements and develop the potential of young creative entrepreneur across the world.
The first YCE Award for publishing was launched in 2004 and sent to UK to represent the Philippines was Ani Almario of Adarna Publishing. In 2005, the YCE for Design Award went to Jay Aldeguer of Islands Souvenirs Cebu. Last year, sent to UK to compete in the music awards was Louie Talan of Wombworks Inc.
