BALTIMORE, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of The Adams Express Company (NYSE: ADX) today declared a $0.12 per share dividend, payable March 1, 1997, to stockholders of record, February 24, 1997. The $0.12 consists of $0.08 long-term capital gain, $0.01 short-term capital gain and $0.01 investment income, all realized in 1996 and $0.02 investment income, in 1997.
