The program is aimed at helping the farmers augment their income in addition to rice or corn or other crops they harvested.
The 1,760 livestocks were comprised of 350 cattles, 350 carabaos, 300 sheeps, and 520 goats, including the 240 livestocks given by the Provincial Veterinary Office under the auspices of the Hunger Mitigation Program.
The program is also part of the continuing implementation of the Dimaporos Farmers Income Enhancement Program at the office of the Provincial Agriculture.
