NEW YORK -- Marc Jacobs and his partner, Robert Duffy, were scheduled to meet with lawyers from LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton Tuesday night at 6 p.m. to sign the deal that will make Jacobs the ready-to-wear designer for the venerable luxury leather goods and luggage label.
It could not be learned at press time, however, whether the papers had been signed.
