VIENNA, Austria, Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Tyrolean Airways of Innsbruck, Austria today announced a firm order for four high-speed de Havilland Dash 8(x) Series 400 aircraft plus options for an additional four from Bombardier Regional Aircraft Division.
Value of the four firm aircraft is approximately $83 million U.S. ($112 million Can.). Deliveries will take place in the fourth quarter of 1999, the first and third quarters of 2000 and the first quarter of 2001.
Tyrolean chose the 72-seat "B" model of the 350-knot aircraft, which is also available in a 70-seat "A" model. They will be used both to replace smaller aircraft on some routes and to introduce new ...
