Over the last few years, many in the digital marketing industry have been fortunate to experience a period of sustained business growth. However, while volume has increased, the quality of the ideas has declined. Recently we did an agency survey and found the majority of our digital time is spent on Facebook, watching video, reading news and blogs, using Web 2.0 services or shopping, not interacting with digital marketing experiences. Digital innovation has primarily been dominated by the start-ups.
