ABN's Sherburn mill is the first compound feed mill in the U.K. to be recommended by the British Standards Institute (BSI) for accreditation to BS OHAS 18001, the international health and safety standard.
The mill is one of the U.K.'s largest producers of compound feed for pigs and poultry, producing more than 150,000 metric tons per year.
ABN manufactures pig and poultry feeds at nine mills in England and Scotland.
