Beside me, Bob Heim was becoming rather agitated. After all, it was his job as a PR flack to make sure I didn't ask his boss any pointed questions. The problem was, I was doing just that.
It was October of 1994 and I was in the Bahamas interviewing the South African multi-millionaire and casino tycoon Sol Kerzner. Myself, Kerzner and Heim, the tycoon's PR point man, were sitting in a spartan basement office located in one of Kerzner's new casinos. But Heim was getting ticked off with my questions - ones like: "How did you feel about Sun City being associated with apartheid?"
