The Wild wants fans to keep coming to games, cheering and singing the famed State of Hockey anthem.
But, fans, don't take it personally if it seems the team is itching to get out of town for a while.
At a time when the Wild might have expected to clean up at home (the team is in the midst of playing eight of nine games at Xcel Energy Center), instead it has lost ground, going 2-4-0 in the past six home games. The Wild plays two more at home, tonight against St. Louis and Friday against Vancouver, before hitting the road, where the team is 7-3-1 so far this season.
