MEMPHIS--Jan. 14--Promus Hotel Corp. announced an agreement Monday with Remington Hotel Corp. of Dallas and Nomura Asset Capital Corp. to develop 10 Embassy Suites hotels in major markets across the United States.
Cost of building the 10 hotels is estimated at $200 million. They will have 150 to 200 suites each. Typically, each Embassy Suites facility has 250 to 300 suites, said John Hawkins, a spokesman for Promus.
Embassy Suites is an upscale all-suite hotel. The average daily room rate is $108. Free cooked-to-order breakfasts and free cocktails and beverages for two hours each evening are included in the daily rate. The chain's average ...
