In 1990, Steve Minton, Mark Johnston, Andrew Philips, and Philip Laird submitted a paper that revolutionized artificial intelligence (AI).And nearly 2 decades later, the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) honored the researchers for their achievement.
The association presented the authors with its Classic Paper Award, which honors influential papers featured at designated AAAI conferences from the past, during its annual conference this summer.
