Toyota eyes Egypt wind farm projects

Minister of Electricity and Energy says Japan's Toyota Motor Corp. is willing to invest in the country's wind farm projects, reported Press TV. Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Hassan Younes hailed Japan as "one of the supporters of Egypt's ambitious plan to develop renewable energy."

Earlier, Younes held talks with representatives of Japanese firms in the energy sector. "The Japanese government presented two soft loans to help finance the Koraimat solar station, to generate 140 megawatts," the official was quoted by MENA as saying.
