Boeing Co. commercial boss Scott Carson didn't say the state's climate for business "sucks," as his predecessor did, though he did say Washington state must do better.
Nor did he threaten to move Boeing's jet-making business out of state, as another Boeing leader once did.
But Carson, chief executive of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, made it clear Thursday that the company must be competitive, and that location, as in real estate, is critical.
"Location is a choice," Carson told a civic group during a luncheon in downtown Seattle.
And strikes are not good for business.
