FORMER airport baggage handler John Smeaton claims he would rather tackle a terrorist than endure another asthma attack.

The 32-year-old, who helped foil the July 2007 attack on Glasgow Airport, suffered a life-threatening asthma episode two months ago.

Now Mr Smeaton,of Erskine, Renfrewshire, who has had the condition since a child, has relived the night he calls 'the worst moment of my life'.
