Lehrer's Flowers Inc. hiked its delivery charge by $1 to $12.98 last month after struggling with rising fuel prices all summer.
Today, Denver pump prices have plunged almost a couple of dollars a gallon from July.
The Denver florist, however, is not trimming its charge.
"With the weak economy and everything, I don't know if the charge will change," said Rhiannon Hinkley, a store manager. "If things go very well, and fuel prices keep going down, we will pass that on to customers."
