SALINAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 1997--TransFRESH, the world's leading provider of controlled atmosphere (CA) hardware and services, anticipates another record-breaking season for the export of South American produce with its Tectrol CA.
The company attributes the increase to a consistently expanding market for South American produce shipments to the U.S. and the establishment of shipments to Asia and Europe.
The Chilean Exporters Association reports that Chile's worldwide fruit exports rose to $1.2 billion in the 1995/96 season, a 13 percent increase over the prior year.
