MEXICO CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 20, 1997--Acer Computec Latino America, S.A. de C.V. (ACLA) announced Monday the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding regarding ACLA's proposed purchase of the Acer-branded Brazilian business of ACBr.
The parties hope to reach a final agreement during the first quarter of 1997, subject to the due diligence process that has commenced following the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding.
The proposed transaction will consist of the acquisition of a newly established subsidiary in Brazil to which ACBr will transfer all tangible assets, as well as all personnel related to the Acer brand assembly and ...
