SEATAC -- Nearly every morning, the woman walked her grandchildren to a nearby bus stop, seeing them off for another day of school. Monday morning, however, that trip turned horrific when the woman was attacked by two pit bulls that were running loose in the tranquil neighborhood.

The 71-year-old SeaTac woman is now recovering at Harborview Medical Center from serious bite wounds.

"My dad saw it," said Dawn Lambe, a neighbor who lives across the street from the victim, and whose father, Henry Hall, called 911. "He grabbed a pitchfork and was yelling at the dogs."
