With a devil's haircut and a punk-rocker's attitude, Beck and his five-piece band performed a raucous, stripped-down concert Saturday night at Memorial Stadium.
It was just the kind of musical celebration that a large, youthful crowd needed on the chilly first night of Bumbershoot.
With Band of Horses opening, it was the first headlining stadium concert of the three-day music-and-arts festival, which continues through Monday at Seattle Center.
