LIVING BOTTLES
The bottle tree (right) is a weird plant from Madagascar (an island off the east coast of Africa.) The tree looks like a bottle and even acts like one. It stores lots of liquid in its soft wood. If the weather stays dry for a very long time, people sometimes cut the trunk open. Why? To feed the juicy wood to their thirsty cattle.
FAKE ROCKS
