Weekday mornings, Jimmy Ray Dunn and Jennifer Lewis serve early-bird listeners a healthy comedic omelet on country radio station 97.3 The Eagle. A "best of" collection from the past two years has been compiled as the Ill-Eagles' "The Babies."
According to Dunn, the CD is the eighth such collection of skits and parody songs produced to benefit children's charities. Proceeds from the sale of the 3,000 CDs will go to the March of Dimes.
While "Bike Shorts" and "Jen's Babyproofing" are humorous, self-deprecating storytelling skits, most of the tracks are fun-filled parodies of familiar hit songs. Eric Clapton ...
