EWI and Technical Toolboxes Inc. (TTI) announced that it plans to form an industry-funded joint industry project to develop fitness-for-service software for conducting API 579 calculations.
Henry Cialone, CEO and President of EWI said, "The recent upgrade from API 579 (2000) to API 579/ASME FFS-1 (2007) has opened up opportunities to develop a new approach to fitness-for-service calculations and data management. We believe participants in this program will benefit by directing the overall development of the software to meet participant needs now while setting the foundation for future enhancements of the application."
