What started as idle conversation in a southeast Arkansas liquor store could distill into millions of dollars of trouble for Farm Bureau.
Dennis Lee was going through his bills in his family-owned liquor store in Dermott when he came across his $35 annual membership fee from Farm Bureau. He turned to Chuck Gibson, a friend and lawyer, and asked offhandedly, "Now why do I have to keep paying this when I already paid the premium on my Farm Bureau car insurance?"
