Dec 15, 2008 (The Sydney Morning Herald - ABIX via COMTEX) -- HCF's proposed merger with rival private health insurance fund Manchester Unity has been endorsed by the latter's members. The $A256m merger will increase HCF's market share to 11.5 per cent, making it Australia's third-largest health fund.
