Black pepper, jeera rise on increased demand, low arrivals
New Delhi, Dec 15 (PTI) -- Black pepper and jeera prices today rose up to Rs 200 per quintal in the national capital on pick up in domestic and export demand coupled with paucity of ready stocks.
Lower arrivals from producing centres also influenced the prices.
Black pepper prices increased by Rs 100 to Rs 12,100-12,200 per quintal on fresh export demand.
Jeera common and jeera best quality rose by Rs 200 to settle at Rs 10,200-10,600 and Rs 13,200-13,900 per quintal respectively.
