PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Constitution Center (NCC) today announced that Robert M. Brasler, President of the Center since January 1994, has resigned his position effective February 1, 1997. NCC is a non-profit, non-partisan group chartered by Congress to foster appreciation and understanding of the United States Constitution.
Brasler will continue as a member of NCC's board of directors, which he joined in 1991, and has also agreed to act as a consultant to the organization. Joseph M. Torsella, a former City of Philadelphia Deputy Mayor and consultant to NCC since 1994, will serve as Interim President.
