Chinese private oil companies seeking involvement in national oil reserve system
Shanghai. December 16. INTERFAX-CHINA - A representative organization on behalf of Chinese private oil companies has submitted an application to the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) regarding involvement in the national oil reserve system, a source close to the situation told Interfax on Dec. 15.
Zhao Youshan, president of the China General Chamber of Commerce's Petroleum Distribution Committee, did not reveal details about the application, but said that the government has not yet responded.
