The National Cable & Telecommunications Association Wednesday announced it has joined the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI), which includes members such as AOL, Google and Verizon, to promote and enhance online safety for children and families.
NCTA officials said teaming up with the global non-profit association will help the cable industry extend its commitment to giving parents a full range of tools, information and resources to help better shape and manage their familys online use.
