Madison-based Musicnotes, Inc., the biggest seller of downloadable sheet music and guitar tablature, announced Wednesday that Internet Retailer has named it a Hot 100 Internet Retail Web Site for 2009.
The recognition puts Musicnotes.com in fast company; others on the list include iTunes, Amazon.com, Overstock.com and Thinkgeek.com.
The 2009 Hot 100 is the 10th annual recognition of e-commerce leaders chosen by Internet Retailer.
According to the December 2008 issue of Internet Retailer, Musicnotes.com was selected because of its continual enhancement to its customers' ability to buy and interact with sheet music.
