Dubai: Six-year-old Emirati girl Alyaziah Esmail took part in a competition solely to express her love and gratitude to His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, saying he is like the father she never had.
Alyaziah, a talented girl with autism, is looked after by her protective mother and uncle and they try to nurture her skills and integrate her into the society.
Her mother's stories of the challenges she faced to get her part of her surrounding echoes in the house of nearly every household with a special needs child.
