Feb. 4--Business Wire is launching its media relations service in Texas, even as its largest competitor expands its presence in the region.
San Francisco-based Business Wire will headquarter its Texas operations in San Antonio under the direction of local public relations and marketing specialist Monika Maeckle.
The firm eventually will have offices in San Antonio, Dallas and Houston with a total of about 10 employees, said Cathy Baron Tamraz, senior vice president of Business Wire.
