WESTPOINT, Ga. -- WestPoint Stevens, a $1.7 billion textiles mill here, has purchased U.K.-based P.J. Flower in a move that taps the growth potential of Ralph Lauren home textiles in Europe and aims to establish its Martex brand there.
P.J. Flower is a $20 million supplier that holds the European rights to the Ralph Lauren bed and bath brand and the international rights to fashion-forward Designers Guild bedding and high-end bedding by designer Caroline Charles.
P.J. Flower has held the Ralph Lauren rights for three years. Phil Flower, managing director said, "The contract will be renegotiated in line with the WestPoint Stevens contract and is ongoing."
