A NEW row over politicians perks erupted last night after it was revealed that peers who have formed relationships in the House of Lords are receiving tax-free double bubble payouts of up to [pounds sterling]117,000 a year.
They are getting double allowances www.mailonsunday.co.uk of [pounds sterling]330 per night twice the [pounds sterling]165 intended to subsidise an individuals living costs even though they may share homes together.
The [pounds sterling]330 figure is more than the cost of a double room with a king-size bed and breakfast at Londons Dorchester hotel.
