Regular use of contact lenses harmful, say doctors Aditya Rangroo New Delhi, Dec 21 (PTI) -- Blue, sea-green or brown, now your eyes can have whichever shade you want thanks to the cosmetic contact lenses that are fast becoming an important fashion accessory.
Ophthalmologists, however, caution against excessive use of contact lenses as fashion.
According to city's Chary Eye Specilaist contact lenses are quite safe. "Contact lenses don't harm eyes." For some people, however lenses can cause allergy if used frequently, says Dr S P Kumar, an Eye specialist.
