MANILA, Dec. 21 (PNA)---The Judicial Bar Council (JBC), the body tasked to pick-up magistrate candidates for the Supreme Court (SC), will be releasing the names of the three candidates recommended to take up the slot of Associate Justice Ruben Reyes who will be retiring this coming Jan. 3, 2009 after reaching the mandatory age of 70, this Monday.

The names in the list will immediately be forwarded to Malacanang for the review of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

The JBC earlier postponed the release of the shortlist after it decided to entertain the motions for reconsideration filed by Solicitor General Agnes Devanadera and former Bureau of Internal ...
