WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--Feb. 7--Old success stories have made comebacks in fashion, entertainment and sports, but can you bank on nostalgia?
The Bank of Contra Costa's former owners think so.
Looking to recycle the success of a bank that disappeared from the East Bay nearly a decade ago, the Walnut Creek-based Learner Financial Group is brushing the dust off an old logo to serve notice of its return to the lucrative Central Contra Costa County market.
