PESHAWAR, December 19 (PPI) - The Government of the United States of America has onated US$4.3 million to the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) to assist Pakistanis displaced by floods and conflicts in the NWFP, said a press release of UNHCR issued here on Friday. The US contribution is a response to the $55 million UN Consolidated Appeal for Pakistan: Humanitarian Response Plan to assist the affected Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) launched in September 2008.
