TIMES ARE TOUGH but there is at least one indulgence we just shouldn't skimp on. Cut out the afternoon latte, bring your lunch to work, stop smoking, but don't forgo the bubbles during the holiday season. It's just not right. No matter what kind of year you've had it's good to celebrate. The simple ritual of popping a cork, pouring a glass and offering a cheer while clinking glasses is enough to make anyone feel better, if only for a moment.
Sure, you may not be able to spring for the real stuff from Champagne, France, this year, but there are plenty of alternatives to fill the bill from all over the world. ...
