GUINNESS is expected to brew a one-off anniversary stout to mark its 250th birthday next year in time for St Patricks Day.
The commemorative beverage is set to be launched in a blaze of worldwide publicity around the celebration of Ire-lands patron saint on March 17.
The 250th anniversary marks the date on which founder Arthur Guinness signed the lease on his famous St James Gate brewery in Dublin in December 1759.
The brewery is now one of Irelands biggest tourist attractions.
