Revise leaf collection
Piles of leaves in bicycle lanes are primarily a problem because the leaves can sit there for weeks or even months until the city collects them. The reason they lie around so long is that public works divides the city into five areas for collection. There are two rounds of leaf pick-up separated by five or six weeks. This might be an efficient use of resources for collection but creates a hazard as leaves become wet and slippery.
